I have a 1960 14ft Shasta and when stripping the paint I noticed I have an Aluminum badge on the curbside in front of the door and a decal on the street side in the same spot. Is this right? I would have thought they would have used the same on both sides. All the pics I see only shouw the badge on the curbside and nothing on the street side.Help!! Thanks Tanya &(Dirtball)

My '61 had the same set up. A metal badge on the curb side and a sticker on the street side. I think there was also a sticker above the front window.

Thought I'd tag on to this old thread, as the title fits my need. O.k., most that are familiar with Deuce know he's got that funky rear door application, thanks to the Bean family we now have the manufacturer tag, but where does it go? On the right - but the vent is kinda in the way, on the left makes sense, but I dunno. Does anyone recall photos of any other weirdo rear door 16 SCs or have advice? Attachments:

The metal badge goes on the door side, just below the front side window. (pretty much the same as the rest of the Shastas)

The Shasta Badge goes under the front curbside window, as Vikx stated and the Factory Badge goes by the handle side of the door. The Mobile Home Manufacturers Association Badge goes on the lower front curbside corner. Attachments:

HOW, that door on Deuce just disappears into thin air, doesn't it?

Your talking about the little green tag right? Not the big chrome Shasta emblem? It goes right under the grab handle.

Yea, the little green tag that indcates where the trailer was made. I'm still not sure where it goes - can't tell from the ad posted above.

Usually they go couple of inches under the grab handle, at least when the door is in the correct place!

Thanks all, found a couple of photos of other weirdos and now I just have to muster up enough courage to put holes in the skin!
