Mike, if yours is like Miss Alabama 1961's you should be able to slide the door under the side bench open, and with a flashlight you should see the mechanism...I used the biggest slotted screwdriver I had. On mine the locking tongue thingy that the key turns to lock against the bottom lip of the opening was held in place with a stout screw. When you back the screw out it should come off...there is also, I believe a nut-like deice on the cylinder that might keep the door from opening...got that unscrewed with vice grips, but if I remember, the screw driver from the inside did the trick. Then I just took the cylinder out and along with the cylinder from the front door, to Lowe's and the key maker keyed both for me by putting in those little flat things in each cylinder to match. Hope that helps...in my case, no prying, no damage to the door...open sesame...

I went to the local hardware store found an exact match to the old lock. Came with two spanking new keys.

Ok,i found a bunch of old keys from 3 households of my parents house to grandparents house. You all know the keys you find and cant remember where they go to...well on the 3rd try of the keys,i found one that opened it up.the key had no number on it either(go figure).Inside was a tire lug iron,a hammer and some plastic/metal stakes and 4 smut novels..no leveling jacks as i had hoped for... thanks for the ideas folks !
