Previous owner secured one of the baggage doors with a washer and screw to keep it closed. I took a chance and bought a new lockset. Turns out the lock was tucked away inside the compartment. Soooooo, I put the old lock back in, used some of the parts from the kit, tightened it down and voila, the locks are working with one key for all, even the fridge vent door. Sometimes luck kicks in and the planets align. =)

Baggage doors should have all been keyed alike. I have 3 on my 69 16SC. Didn't get any keys with the trailer. Went to the local trailer dealer / supply place & got 3 locks all keyed alike (the owner said "all the locks are keyed alike") Although he first gave me a key he said would fit all my compartments....it fit none of them, but locks, and unlocks the entry door!
