I was looking forward to what might look good in my basement corner! Two things that are wierd... One. Someone deleted their question that I was replying to in this thread. I wonder why? Now I just look like I am spouting off about poles for no reason. Two. I can't figure why those links died. That is odd. I fixed the links. The products are still available as far as I can tell so everyone can have nice decorations for their basements like me! ;D Brian

FYI, I finally have my awesome poles back, I having been working with my supplier and a new manufacturer since August last year and finally have my poles back for sale. They are a heavy duty aluminum adjustable pole that extends to 8'6" and breaks down to 4'4". They have a 3" drawn tip, meaning the aluminum is kindof squeezed down to form the tip not a seperate piece, also a nice machined aluminum collar with a large thumb screw for adjustment, Then a large rubber foot on the bottom. I am selling these for 30.00 each and that includes shipping for them, You won't need to replace these down the line, they will last for years to come, thanks Marti 530-891-5120 domy@sbcglobal.net

I made my own poles out of 2 pieces of EMT conduit one 1/2" the other 3/4" cut them in half 5' a piece and take the 1/2" piece and weld a 4 inch bolt into the end of it. Drill a few sets of holes in the 1/2" piece and one set of holes in the 3/4" piece
the cost of this is about 6 bucks for two can't beat it
