My Compact has a rock guard, but it is missing the pins that hold it open when it is parked. It has the ones that hold it closed when driving. I am currently using wire coat hangers, very red-neck of me What should I use to replace the missing pins? Thanks!

Is it a tube style support arm? If so I would say split cotter pins would work well. Most hardware stores should have them Brian

It is a square tubing, but I think those would probably do it. Thanks!

My compact does not have an original rock guard but it has square tubing with channel inside that slides in and out. It has a threaded insert with a wing screw in it that you tighten down to lock rock open where you want it.
