My Shasta emblem was pitted and oxidized..looked horrible. I used steel wool to clean it up best I could, painted it black then used 400 or so grit to sand the raised parts and that looked better. However over the winter the bare parts started to look not so good again. I decided to just paint the whole thing bright silver which looked OK.. but it needed a little something. Then I took a red paint pen and painted just the swoosh and word TRAILERS.. I like the way it looks and accents the new color scheme nicely~ .
