My 56 had royal norton lights in it...not sure if they were original or not. had one single and one double filament light. Try as I might can't get the double pigtail to seat properly in the socket. On top of that I also have 2 4.25 diameter hole in the skin where the lights need to go. I have decided to replace with LEDs. At this point, I jus want somethign that will work easy peasy no fussing with backing plates etc..... we are trying to get on the road TODAY! I'm thinking that the following would work. Thoughts. Ideally I need to find something like this local or that I can get overnight. www.commandelectronics.com/led-tail-light_files/003-6019rProductInfo.pdf

If I do go with these, I will likely cover the original holes with a patch (thought that will wait for my return...or maybe a layover day while we're out on the road. I'm thinking in the mean time these will just go right over the top.
