I've been outbid on Ebay too many times! I've read the strings and know the plans are available but I really don't have the skills to make them myself and can't take the heartache of being outbid again!
Anyone had any luck getting them fabricated? If so, can you refer me to anyone? Willing to pay for shipping as long as your source is will to ship.

Have you been using esnipe to bid? It really helps.
I am going to have a friend fabricate them for me. I am not sure what he is going to charge. I am assuming about $200-$250. I can post pictures when they are done if you would like.

Thanks! I haven't tried esnipe but have bid up to my budget each time so I don't think its really a matter of timing. But thanks for the tip, I may try it.
Let me know how they turn out and if he/she is willing to make them for others.

Esnipe is great because it drops in your bid at the end so you don't drive up the price as much and the person bidding may not even know you are going to bid against them so they may not bid as aggressively. I have found I get things so for much less this way. I will post pictures of the wings when they are done and I can ask him if he will make them for other people. They may be less expensive, I just posted what I figured would be a worst case price.

Lusterbunny: You make a good point. I went WAY over what I was planning to spend on Ebay just because I got caught up in the auction perspective!

I donno, I've about got the technique down, if anything, I may make a set to sell once I get them done, and know they turned out looking OK. so I can post pics of the actual wings someone would get.
really dont want to take orders, that puts me on a schedule, and I am full time Army, so my time is limited.
