is there a preference in RV toilets? some are hand and some are foot flush? which is preferred?
I think the foot flush might be more sanitary, or am I missing something? is there any longevity issues with either?
thanks for your reply.

It's probably personal preference. I installed a hand flush toilet in our camper. I turned a small area into a wet bath set up and I felt foot lever type might get in the way. The guy at the camper store also said they see more breakage with foot flush than had flush. I'm sure it also depend on the brand and style. I went with a Thetford Aqua"V" had flush. I wanted light weight to keep weight down. Brent

Whichever you buy, make SURE it has a solid waste tube from bowl to floor flange. The ones that don't tend to splash nasty inside the toilet body.
