MY TRAILER IS REGISTERED!!! COST $79.00 WOOHOO
I did a few thing different this trip to the dmv. When I left to the dmv last time ( pissed ) I told them to forget it and reverse the transaction ( important ) I made a early appointment at a different dmv ( A must ) cleaned up all my paperwork ( statement of facts ) wore a business man shirt, clean shave, big smile and walked out with the trailer registered for $79.00 in 15 min. Don"t give up!!!!!!!!!! Put in some leg work and bit of research and you can get it. Saved me $501.00 Happy Camper Marc

. Smiling and going to the DMV early in the day looking professional always makes a difference. I've also found that small talk and compliments make a big difference too.

I had a pretty funny experience at the DMV.. I bought the trailer last October, but didnt go to register it until the beginning of August. Anyway, when I got to the desk, the woman saw the purchase date on the bil of sale and said HOY COW!!! You bought this LAST OCTOBER???" Aparently, I had accrued a fine of several hundred dollars by registering it in a different year that I purchased it in, and taking 10 months to do it...(She told me this) Next thing you know, she gets up, walks slowly over to the printer, and pulls out a sheet of paper. She walks over to me and says... "Now, I have to do some computer work, so I will not be here for the next 7-8 minutes. In case you get bored, here is a piece of paper and pen if you want to doodle, or write anything down that you can think of." She gives me a wink and walks away. So, I took the oportunity to write out a new Bill of Sale, dated late July! Sweeet! I gave her the new one and she never batted an eye. Then, when she was giving me the registration, I jokingly said, "Could you give me an extra registration sticker? I am not good with small things and will probably lose it.. She said "You know these things always stick together, just like new dollar bills..." and she gave me 3 stickers!! Unbelievable... Hands down the coolest DMV worker EVER!
