We have a '62 Shasta Airflyte. The door's pretty bad. It's bent, water can leak in, it's got holes, and is patched up from the inside. Where do I locate a new door? What doors from other year Shasta's would fit this one? Thanks!

The best way to replace the door is rebuild it according to your door opening. The wood framing is pretty simple; you might need new skins. The edging can probably be used over again. It really depends on what 's left.
Also: don't make the door square. Match the existing doorway. Learned that the hard way...

So I built the frame matching the existing door.....NOT the doorway--duh now I have a door frame that is gonna bind in teh same places as the existing one. What should I do now? Scribe the opening to the new door? The new door frame is just the 1x2's not skinned yet (I did use 1x3s for the top and bottom plate though)... But it is glued and screwed so can't take it apart easily.

A belt sander with 40 grit is your friend... just tinker 'til everything fits. Remember, adding the skin and door trim will narrow everything by 1/8". I sometimes use my Multimaster to trim the wood or a circular saw, depending. Then sand to suit me.

Thanks Vikx Okay so it seems a little tight on one section. How tight a fit do I want once it's all together?

Not tight. I would say 1/4 inch all the way around un-finished. 1/8 finished.
I sand the door frame to fit the opening then eyeball where it's tight. Sand some more in tight areas and to allow for the door skin. Also, you'll need the door trim in place for the fit...
Keep an eye on the bottom so it doesn't drag. Anyplace that touches is too tight.
It's just sort of a wing it thing... fit the door to the hole. Take your time. When it looks right, hang the door by a few screws and do another fine tuning.
You can do it!
