This trailer was in in bad shape. As stated on my wife's page it needed help. I am just about ready to paint the outside and starting on the interior stuff. Will add more pics as progress on the work. Heat this Summer and Work as slowed my progress. Have pictures up on my blog. txmcook.blogspot.com/

I think you`ve done a great job on the trailer and the site. I enjoyed it. 352 pictures! Its amazing....you look at a 16 ft trailer and think a dozen pictures will cover it all. Which it will until you start tearing it to pieces lol.

Cook, well done
Just one comment though. Are you sure this is a 64? I am a bit suprised as the body style is totally different from the Astrodome of the same year and those two models were sold on the same brochure as kind of sister trailers. The same layout with the Astrodome having the extra bunk and the SC with no bunk. Not sayings its not possible thouhg, just found it curious.

Tyler,
No I am not sure it is a 64' at all. I have no title and am going on sink date alone. My vin# is 4T-5051 or if you look upside down it looks like 4I-5051. Plate says Northridge, Calif. but a 4T seems to be a Texas vin. If you have an idea of the year please let me know.

Marty Here are two SC's that I found the first is a 62 but the second is a 64 (owned by Brian, the guy who runs the forum). These are exactly the style I would have expected for an 64 SC. Maybe Brian can shed some light on it for you. I dont know if you have an SC, I know the compact kept the same name and went from the round style to the boxier style around the same time. So maybe the SC did the same in 65. I am not as familiar with the "later" style Shastas. Good luck.... sorry if I opened a can of worms. thismontanalife.com/2012/01/08/meet-winnie-1962-shasta-16-sc/atomicaddiction.blogspot.com/2009/08/our-new-1964-shasta.html

tylerbes you asked me awhile back if I was sure it was a 1964. I can now answer your question. Yes, the nice folks at TxDot ran my VIN and it was made in March of 1964. I am happy part of the puzzle has been solved.
