Here's what I did with one of my Vintage Shasta Trailer Forum stickers - decorated a 5 gallon bucket light with it.
Note to wife if you're checking the forum: this is one of your Christmas presents, pretend that you didn't see it.

like yours. i had thought to get one of the Shasta Trailers stickers off ebay and put that on the bucket but have not done so yet.
Last camping trip put the light about 20 ft up a tree and it lit up the entire campsite.
Bucket lights are where its at

I was amazed at how much light Offspringin's bucket light put out. i'll have to show hubby Potomac's comment so he might get the idea for a Christmas present for me!

theres a number of ways to make it with the goal being to have a hanging sealed bucket that acts as a 360 light. no need for airvents if you use a CFL bulb. Mine only has 100watt (when it blows ill buy the 150). you can go all out mounting a junction box inside w/ socket or do it the lazy way (like ours) get a light socket/cord from IKEA (4 bucks), drill a hole (or cut it out with exacto) just a smidge smaller than the threaded socket, thread it in, tighten, put your bulb in, pop the lid on.... done.... i actually had trouble finding a plain white bucket and lid, ended up finding them at walmart. as a side note i have intentions of making another one out of maybe a 3 gallon bucket (something smaller) as it takes up a bit of space in the camper added a photo of our bucket light about 20-25 feet up a tree, really lights up the site without being direct or blinding other campers/sites this is the cord we used www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10175810/Attachments:
