It could. That's where many VIN's are stamped in the metal. That's where my VIN is stamped on my Deville

I was reading other threads saying the vin was shorter than the one I posted this be wrong

Mine's A01P006201, but I don't remember whether that's from the reg or the tongue.

For those reading this that have SOB's I have also heard of VIN#s turning up stamped occassionally somewhere along the door frame on some vintage campers.
