I just got a 1966 16 foot Shasta and was wondering if there is a wiring diagram for it and does the 110 system charge the 12v battery or is it possible?

Hi Matt,
The old wiring diagrams don't show anything but where the lights and plugs are. Very, very simple...
The 110 system didn't charge the 12 volt battery; in fact most trailers didn't have a battery way back when. The ceiling light was run by the tow vehicle's wiring. When the parking lights were on, the light worked. I add a battery and complete 12 volt system to my trailers and use a battery maintainer to charge. (cheaper than a converter)
The original 110 system works well as is, I often upgrade the wiring and add a 20 amp circuit for kitchen appliances.
I have quite a few pictures if you need them; PM me for more information.

Hi Matt, the diagram has to do with how the breaker box works. It has nothing to do with the trailer.

Hi Matt, very nice drawing. It is showing wiring size and what each breaker does. The first 20 amp breaker could probably be reduced to 15, just lights and a few plugs. That way, a 20 amp inlet would work if only one item at a time was powered.
