Has anyone sewn a spare tire cover?

well I have not but I found a chrome ring on ebay, they did not know what it fit, so I got if for cheap, they listed the measurements and it will work just fine on my camper tire. I am going to use this with a nice whitewall tire and chrome moon hub cap, should look cool on the back of the camper.

I didn't sew one but I did buy one at a local camper store for around $15.00.

It sure will! Good combination you're putting together. I don't have a spare baby moon other than a super rusted out one. If I can get it looking decent, then I'll put it on and not worry about a cover. And if someone stole it, well, surprise, surprise. Otherwise, I'll see if I can make something. I need to look at one to see how it's fastened on. I'm picturing a drawstring affair on the back. Hmmmm.

Lopo, the one I bought has elastic on the backside as it wraps over the tire.

How much of the backside of the tire does it cover? Like just enough to wrap over the top?

Lopo, I`m looking for a cover also. If all else fails, I`ll make one using marine awning fabric.
