Door looks great. For some reason that was one of my favorite things to do it mine. It was just so simple and straightforward. Plus it makes a huge impact once you get that nice new door hung on the trailer.
Its nuts... and I am not suprised at all by the figure you are up to... plus you are putting new skin on right!? I hit the 6 grand mark and stopped counting. Then I added the three storage tanks, hot water heater, and shower . I did have one advantage. All of the wood for my framing I got for free. its only Pine but every little bit counts.
I think I am going to do the spray insulation method you did on my Airflyte once I get to working on it... you know my ORIGINAL Airflyte . OF course I am sure I will put a full bathroom in that one too.
So whats your timing on the exterior work... looking forward to seeing it.

The wings are iconic, and I was a little concerned that ours might get torn off by some kid wanting a status symbol, like they did with the Mercedes hood ornaments back in the '80s. But then I realized that a homie would look really dumb with a giant wing hanging from a chain around his neck.
Who's doing your skin? Are you having it fabricated with a 6" run? I got quote from all-rite but wanted to get another for a different vendor. I'm finding most places can't do a 6" run on automated equipment. All-rite had a 20 foot brake the could do the large panels by hand.

Smccusk-I'll let you know in a couple of days, we have a local company that has told me on numerous occasions that they can do it, but other VSTF members I sent have told me they can't, we'll see when I take a piece in for them to match up! If not I'm in trouble!
Flyingham-thanks, your very well documented thread made it possible, in fact I used one of your pictures when I built the frame to figure out the the front curve and roof slope!
The corners wern't the expensive part, it was the set up, I think I paid 200.00 for 60 l/f of them and $125 was just the setup charge!

So I am still playing with the interior and some minor details. I finally have the appliances and sink refinished and installed, I redid the edge I originally had on the counters with a retro 50's one, and I finally got the backsplash mounted.
