November 8-11, 2012 at Three Rivers State Park in Sneads, Florida. Where Florida meets the southwest corner of Georgia, the Chattahoochee and Flint rivers converge to form Lake Seminole, the setting for this peaceful park. Anglers can launch from a boat ramp to enjoy some of the best freshwater fishing in the state, or fish from a 100-foot pier in the camping area. I would make your reservations now, this park fills very fast that time of year. Make your reservations through floridastateparks.reserveamerica.com/camping/Three_Rivers_Sp/r/campgroundDetails.do?page=details&contractCode=FL&parkId=281075&topTabIndex=CampingSpotWe have 19 trailers attending, to date (who have given us their site #'s). This State Park only has 30 sites and we are hoping to have it totally filled with our teardrops and vintage trailers. There are only 5 sites left. This gathering is hosted by the Southern Appalachian, Georgia and Florida Chapters of the Tearjerkers. We will be having a Potluck Dinner on Saturday, around 6:00 pm. We would love to have you join us! Florida is always beautiful in November! A good time will be had by all!!

becinala, sounds great. What site do you have, so we can keep up with everyone?
We always have a Saturday Night Potluck @ 6:00pm and for those arriving early enough, either Thursday or early Friday morning, we sometimes have a few grills going for people to do ribs or a Dutch Oven night for Friday night. The Friday night is usually a themed meal of some sort.

not this year, but soon, hopefully by late spring I will have her done and road worthy, I do plan on some long trips to new places, although Arkansas has more than its share of great campgrounds, I plan on a trip to the Ocean as well.

My camping group, Tearjerkers, has a newly formed Chapter called the Ozark Chapter (Arkansas and Missouri). Hopefully Mike will have a gathering this coming Spring, because we plan on attending. Looking to have a gathering somewhere near the Tennessee, Arkansas line on your side of the Mississippi River. This is about a 10 hour drive for us but I think it will be well worth it!
I'll keep you and anyone else that maybe interested in the gathering info.

Just wanted to touch base on the upcoming Three Rivers gathering. Thursday will have Meet & Greet of new and old friends. We will have cheese and crackers. Bring your own beverage of choice!
It has been requested so here it is.....
For Friday, we are wanting to have a little cooking fun. We are wanting to have a "Campground BBQ Ribs Throw-Down". For those who would like to join in, here are a few simple rules: #1: Bring a Rack Of Ribs (baby back, spare, short, etc or for those who will remain unnamed something without bones) #2: Bring a small side dish to share with all of us #3: Ribs and Side Dishes will be prepared and cooked at the campground. #4: Bring YOUR grill or other means of cooking (dutch oven, crock pot, smoker, etc ) and we will ALL cook together at a site or sites To Be Determined and pig out around 6:00pm.
Please let us know if you will be joining us for Friday night.
As for a theme for Saturday Night potluck I think we will leave it open. We all have such unique personalities that putting them together is theme enough.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Just remember, "It's not what you camp in, it's who you camp with".
All the years, since 2004, we have hosted and co-hosted gatherings, everyone has always had a blast! This one will be no exception.
Can't wait.

You can put a table out if you would like. If I can get up with Avannoy next Monday morning, I will bring your Shasta table top with us. Also, you can decorate how you see fit. It's all about being yourself. We love seeing a vintage trailer all decked out Carla and I will be rolling around noon on Wednesday, along with a few friends and doing some site seeing on Thursday, while some folks are arriving and the rest pulling in on Friday. This is a post from our Social Director and yes, we are really big into Breast Cancer Awareness all year long, not just for the month of October. Hello Everyone!!
We getting closer and closer to the gathering. Just wanted to remind everyone the we will be doing a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness.
We will have a raffle for a lot of great gifts as well as Bra Pong for prizes. All proceeds will be donated to a Breast Cancer Awareness program.
It is all about a good time while helping others. Can't wait till next Tuesday so we can Hook & Book............See ya by tha fire....

Small world. We ran into a guy this weekend that i think was at this rally. Think he said his name was Bob. He had a 69 (I believe orange and white Aristocrat Lo-Liner). We were camping in south GA this weekend and ran over to Auburn, AL to Chewacla State Park and saw his trailer in the campground. Said he had been on the road for a year and a half. His plates were Illinois. Out of curiosity can anyone who attended confirm if this trailer was there? Attachments:

I don't think he was there, because I don't remember that trailer being there. There are a few vintage trailer groups that like going to Three Rivers. It is a very nice State Park.

Here is the picture that we took of our teardrop as we were checking in at Three Rivers. The only real difference was that the State Park sign is now at the entrance to the park by the main road. Attachments:

We do, but it will be in South Carolina this year and next year it will be in Georgia or Alabama. We have 3 Chapters that participate in the gathering and one of the Chapters hosts it each year. We decided to have this special gathering change States & campgrounds each year. This way we can see other parts of the Southeast and camp with new found friends. Here is the link to the November gathering: vintageshasta.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=eastcoastvintagetrailer&thread=8653It would be great if you two could join us!!

We stayed at Three Rivers for 3 nights in Feb. There was a Cub tractor gathering nearby. Loved this little State Park.
