So I know the fantastic vent has a huge fan base here(pun intended), but I was wondering if anyone had used a elixir vent. I have sneaking suspicion the the fantastic is only popular cause VTS sells it.

Fantastic is popular because it is a great fan. Not only that, but Fantastic customer service is AWESOME. If something breaks, call the factory and a free replacement part is in the mail the next day. Really. I can't say enough good about Fantastic Fans.
Elixir are small bathroom fans, not much air flow or quality.
I don't buy mine from VTS usually but they sell the old style grey flat lidded unit. They are very popular with the Airstream folks.
Fantastics are said to replace all the air in a larger trailer every two minutes. Test one at an RV dealers, you will agree they are really worth it.

Vikx is right, Fantastic Fan is a great fan and has been the preferred choice by many, for years. I have always preferred the Maxx Fan, when I make a replacement or in a new build. They have all of the same features that the Fantastic Fan has, 3 speed reversible fan with thermostat (some even have remotes), but one MAJOR difference. During a rainy down pour, you can still operate the fan without the fear of rain coming into your camper. Attachments:
