myvintagecamper.blogspot.com/My blog will most likely move as fast as a herd of turtles...but this is where I will attempt to chronicle my project 1963 Shasta. "Phoebe" (pictured) is along for the ride. Attachments:

Thinkin I'm going to enjoy your journey! I think you are going to have a great time fixing up your Airflyte. And it's great to have another Californian on the site.

Is your trailer painted silver or did someone strip off the paint and it's bare aluminum?

Hi SchweetC, it is bare aluminum...I feel lucky about that!
Thanks so much HOW! It's because of you it all happened!
I will post more pics as we got to tearing into it today...surprisingly, nothing horrible was found. A few spots that need attention, but nothing we (lol..okay...my buddy Dave) can't handle.

Wow, digging right in! Looks like fun! Just got a 56 a couple of weeks ago that needs some work in the not too distant future, so will be following your work.

Aw thank you romerkb and dsadki! It's not the most exciting blog around, but the work is coming along!
This trailer is lucky I love it, 'cause if I added up all the $$...YIKES!

Don't add up the receipts! I did that about months ago and I'm still shocked. At last count mine was over $8400...ouch!

SchweetC:
You make me feel much better. So far we only have $8373.50 invested/sunk into our '55 1500, though I've probably lost a few receipts. This does includes a new 'frig, stove and furnace, but not the $500 purchase price. Also not including anything for the hours, approaching 1400.
Thanks, your number makes me feel better.
