I bought what I thought was a 65-66 Shasta, model unknown. We have no title and would like to make sure we have year at least correct.
the VIN is V20968
all help is appreciated. the original color was white with an orange sort of arrow.
Thanks Dogs2katz

Looks like you have a 1966 Shasta born in Indiana.
Post a few pictures and the over all measurement (tongue to bumper) of your Shasta and we can figure out what Model you have.

mcnutt22,
Based on your VIN#, you have a 1959 Shasta, built in Indiana.
What Model do you have? If you are unsure, Please post a picture or two and total length (tongue to bumper).
Thanks, Ross

I found my VIN # P2476. The date on the mirror is December 1963. What can you tell me about my Shasta ?

dmoyer5300, Your Shasta was built in 1964 in Leola, Pennsylvania. What Model do you have, so I can complete your VIN# log in.
The date you found on the back of the mirror states when the mirror was cut for the Pennsylvania plant. Mirrors and sinks that were stamped with a date could sit in the plant for up to a year plus before being used. These items were ordered in bulk and not necessarily used within that particular year.

Ross - how do I find out what model ? I could not find a date on the sink anywhere. FYI - I live very close to the Leola, PA plant and my boss worked there when he was a teenager.

You can either post a picture or two or you can email them to me, which ever works for you.
