Urgent!! I am going to go pick up a 60-64 Shasta Airflyte in Tenn and don't have time to pack the bearings when I pick it up. I plan to install some Bearing Buddies when I get there and fill it up.
Here is my question? Does anybody know the Bearing Buddy size for these axles? I need to know something today if someone can help. I would look at mine at home but I am at work and can't get home to check it out. I hope someone knows.
Thanks, Rick

Well, I didn't hear back from anyone so I did a little research and found that since mine, like many Shasta SC16 and others models, have screw in or threaded dust covers. They do not make Bearing Buddies which have threads. Thus, we are just out of luck unless I can find someone to thread two. Rick

You might be better off to get an extra set of screw in caps and modify them for the grease zerk and the little poppet.

I never knew that the Bearing Buddies offered caps for the threaded hubs till now. Thanks! My only concern would be that the additional projection of the bearing buddy would cause clearance issues for wheel removal. I know that I can barely slide my tire out now with it current configuration. I wouldn't have a prayer with this cap installed.
