Trying to rewire/figure out the 12V wiring on a ’66 Shasta. System has a 3 fuse, fuse block which has wires coming in and out of it from everywhere including the tail lights. Is this correct? I assume only the water pump and lights should be run through it?
Can anybody share a wiring diagram of the 12 volt system?

You should have 3 basic systems and for ease of use, keep them separated.
1) 12v Trailer lights should be a harness coming from the tow vehicle, should control marker lights, brakes, brake lights and tail lights 2) 110 Shore power, should control interior lights and outlets 3) 12v Battery, should control, Fan, Pump, and some interior lights
Your trailer lights should never be fused, except for the fuse box in the tow vehicle.

It is possible someone wire in the tail lights to the 12v also. Check for a switch.
I know in the AS community they do this like a bat signal. If your running lights are on, party is on!
