Recently, I was asked if there was any way to set up a vintage trailer awning when alone. I looked in my vintage trailer instruction manual and found a picture of an awning rail pulley. I went to the hardware store and pieced together something that looked very similar. I took it home, tried it out and it really works. It still required climbing a ladder because I am short, but I was able to pulley the awning along the rail with no help. Visit my Blog for step by step instructions. www.vintageawnings.blogspot.com
