Good Afternoon,
Since I'm currently unable to really do much work in the winter time without indoor storage, I figured I'd get stuff together awhile and order things.
I live in Central PA and it gets pretty humid in the summer for camping, so I would like a AC but do the Fantastic Fans do a good enough job to cool down the camper in the evening?
I have a house fan in my house which exhausts air from outside and sucks it back out and we use it quiet often during the early and later summer months compared to AC. So I'm not sure if this would be like that or not.
I don't mind doing both, but I will need to find a clever place to put the AC and which kind I want to get.
What has worked best for you?
Thanks!

No experience here, just thinking out loud...I personally like the idea of having both. I think that most of the time here in the northeast a vent fan would do the trick. But then there are those really hot days when a tin can would hold a lot of heat, and A/C would make the wife a lot happier... A couple members have threads on here with great install ideas for putting the A/C permanently under the bed frame. Sure looks better than those units that people stick in the windows! Another member has a nice install of a portable unit. (I like this idea too, in times when A/C is not going to be necessary, it's possible to leave it home and use the space some other way.)

I agree with Chris.
Install the Fantastic Fan first and give it a try one season. The A/C can always be added if you think you need it. I use the 4000R Fan, it's reversible.

Thank you for your input and suggestions! I'm going to order a Fantastic Fan for now and maybe look into where to put a AC for the summer or next.
