Hello, My 64 Shasta 1500 has the tail lights wires outside the skin. The previous owner told me that he did not have time to put them inside the trailer. Any suggestions on how to run them inside?

You mean they run underneath to the back? Ouch, you'll need to be creative I think. Not sure how to help... Show us what you are starting with...

If you pull off the tail lights, you should have a hole in the skin where the wires ran through before. You should be able to fish a wire down to the bottom of the rear skin and then hook onto your wires and pull back up through to where they belong. You will probably need to remove the screws on the bottom of the rear skin in order to gain better access. Good luck!

I removed those but the original wires have a short somewhere. I fished new wires to the tail lights and I connected them to the old wires. I have Electo lights with one bulb two filaments. The wires on the backing are red and green on both sides. The right tail light works but the left tail light is funky. When I tested the blinker all the lights blinked.............I'm stumped Any suggestions?
