I'm ready to buy a 30 or 45 amp converter. I can't decide which to buy. Progressive dynamics? Anybody?

PD has a good rep. I have a pd 9245, which seemed to work fine on my old, one-foot-in-the-grave golf cart batteries (which were too old to ever take a full charge again, and which I never really checked). However, using a generator, I don't really think I ever had time to really fully charge those big old beasts. And what I've been reading lately says that converters don't input enough volts to really charge your battery fully unless they're on 24/7, and you force them to stay in boost mode. I haven't tried it yet on my new batteries.
