You seem to still be responding to posts so I have a question about your frame. What are the two angle iron pieces ( about 4 feet long) going parallel to the main frame there for? i really like the way you made the new frame. I need some work on mine and I think I will do a similar thing. You do nice work. Also, where does one get a step? Wayne I'm doing the Sob, 1948 Silver Lodger Wayne, Ya I'm still around, I just don't log in a lot. I've been watching your build and I think you're doing a great job on it. Are you talking about the angled pieces on the outside of the frame? If so, I did that just for reinforcement on where I put the step in at. Also I wanted to bolt to the steel and not the wood. I did the other side only to make it look symmetrical. I bought a step form one of the online RV places. In another post I started I showed a pop-up camper I got for free and the wife liked that step more so I used the pop-up one. I'm not using the one I have now if you want it "Super Cheap". Send me a PM and I send you a pic. Talk to ya soon Dennis

Dennis isn't going to work on Beluga, he's too busy riding snow sleds. I bet all those new tools are sitting right in the same place as when photo'd 8 months ago. ;D LOL funny Ham! I used the brand spankin new Sliding miter saw to cut up junk wood and a few other projects that didn't need a saw that size. I also can't get Beluga into the garage to work on it through the winter. They're called snowmobiles. I also landed another Jeep project. ;D ;D ;D
