We have a 66 Shasta super. We are in the middle of a MAJOR restoration and are looking for the aluminum cross pieces that hold up the ceiling pannels. They are an extruded aluminum that has a channel on the front and rear edge and are about an inch and three quarters wide and go the width of the trailer. There is a channel on the top side that the inch and three quarter wood goes in so that it can be nailed to the side walls. The trailer was exposed to snow load that crushed the roof down and bendt the cross pieces. Any help on parts location or used parts would be VERY helpful. Thanks.

We need three. They are 82 and one half inches long. Thanks.

Are any of the three the end ones that span the top of the wall corner? (The wall and ceiling panels would turn the 90 degree turn.)

No, just the three in the ceiling. The end ones are ok. Thanks

That's the ones! Are you interested in parting with any? Thanks.

Have to dig in the storage to find where they are. I believe there are two in there, and may be longer, but that shouldn't be a big problem.

Keep me posted. Let me know what you want for them. It would be nice to get some straight ones instead of trying to straighten the warped ones I have!

We have a 1965 18 Super but our cross pieces are wood. I wonder if they changed them in 1966 or if a different factory made them with metal rather than wood. Our trailer was produced in California.

[/font] Our Trailer is a 66. The framing and floors are wood. I guess they went with aluminum cross pieces as you see above in 66.
