1968 Compact Gold anodized trim panels

Has anyone tried to refinish the Gold anodized trim on a later model Shasta? Ours has what were Gold anodized exterior panels which are now sun bleached. I will probably paint them but am looking for alternatives. Since these trailers are less desirable than the earlier models, it seems like it would be a waste of money to have the parts reanodized. Any ideas? Thanks ,Jim

You could try a home anodizing kit. Never used 'em myself, but seen them at places like Eastwood.

I always give it a whack with rubbing compound first, you never know how bright that old stuff can come out.
