Hello!
I have a question about my side markers. When I connect my 4-pin connection to my tow vehicle, my tailights and turn signals work fine. My side markers and tag light do not turn on. The bulbs don't seem to be burned out. Any suggestions on what I should do or check to see about getting those lights to turn on? Thank you for any help or ideas you might have!

You may have a broken hot wire, which should be the green wire coming off the plug It could be disconnected between the plug and the first light. Although possible that it may have a screw through it, a dead short would probably blow fuses. There is a strong likelihood of bad ground also. Since each light is grounded individually to the aluminum, they would have to be checked individually. Don't know if this helps at all but here it is.

Sounds like they don't have a good ground. The marker lights are usually grounded to the skin. If you remove the lens, there will be a 2 screws and one is the ground. Sometimes, you can use a larger screw and that will fix the grounding problem.
When I am restoring a trailer and the interior skins have been removed, I like to run a ground wire to each running light. This way I am not relying on the skin to be the ground.
