I'm guessing it's not a 53.....called will see what there is. Would love a better stove than I have for the right price.

I talked to him yesterday afternoon. I am considering the stove which he wants $100 for. He seems like a real nice guy. Bought it not realizing how much work it would be and is just trying to make back some of what he paid for it. I didin't have time when he called me back to go into what his inventory was like beyond
Fridge works but is not original Floor furnace seems in good shape....don't know if it's working or not. Didn't ask about which windows and condition.
If I do get the stove mine will be up for grabs.

I'm buying the oven for $75. It's a princess not a wedgewood (which i had a hard time believing anyway) I'm going to head over on Sunday....I'll eyeball the rest. If there is something you want me to especially look for let me know.

Topic should be changed to 1955-57 Shasta 1500 parts available. He is located in Oakdale Ca on the road to Yosemite.
I just picked up a princess oven and another member is purchasing dinette seats. This fellow is asking very reasonable prices.
He bought the trailer a while back from a guy in Modesto (nearby) iwth the intention to restore it.. Turned out guess what to be rotted through and trhrough adn more work to rebuild than he was prepared to take on and rather than junk it he carefully took it apart. He has
All the windows--a few have broken panes but they look good. All of the skin which appears to be in very good condition, though as you may know these models had a design flaw where teh lower front and backs didn't overlap so you'd have to replace these...he tried to source and became frustrated...and this is what led to his abandoning the project. Original electric light fixtures and globes (2) (does not have propane lamp--it was mangled) Table (grey linen formica) All drawers and doors with hardware Awning rail and drip rail these look like they are perfect--not bent at all. Norco fridge from the era with manual....not sure if it works. factory upgrade Floor heater (propane) ....no sure if it works. Factory upgrade
He is keeping the trailer to build a chuckwagon/camping set up.
Also says a relative has several of these old trailres on his property somewhere near by and someday he's hoping to actually do a rebuild. I told him about the forum and told him he may be hearing from other folks. I also told him about RV Dr George in Sac who might be interested in the windows etc...
It's too far for me to go out there again..

Just wanted to update. He still has the fridge, windows, drip rails, cot with hardware, cabinet doors and drawers with hardware, skins and tail lights. I bought the booth seats from him and had them shipped via greyhound-weight was about 85lbs. and shipping was 78.00. Very nice person, had told him I wanted the table and forgot to send the money, with Gone Kayaking, to pay for it-took a chance mailed him the cash and got the table shipped before he even got my payment.
