I thought it was a 1500??? The mirror can say 56 but the trailer can still be a 57. Its not unusual for the mirror to be made and stamped a year prior to the camper being made. The only thing a stamp on a mirror tells you is that your trailer can`t possibly be older than the mirror:) I love the black and white exterior paint scheme. The link to your blog isn`t working.

Well then I don't know what you have. There was no 1600. The 1500 is 14'4" to the tongue and the actual trailer is 11'6" at it's longest point on the body. I don't think they made a larger trailer back in 56 than the 1500. Now you could have a 16 Look through the model thread.
