Curious if anyone knows how you could track down the original sales point for any of our trailers? It would be neat (mostly just because i am curious) to know where our trailer came from. We do know it came from the SC plant but that doesn't necessarily mean it was originally sold in SC.
We have no dealer badges on our trailer and i would suspect that trying to track the VIN might be hard or impossible. I don't know that those are tracked on a service like carfax and even if they were it has such a short awkward VIN number I don't know if it could even be looked up there.
Anyone have any idea?

I'd like to know, too. Our '61 Airflyte has an "Al's Trailer Mart" sticker on the front that I believe is original. We bought it in Michigan, it came from the Goshen plant. But, no idea where "Al's" was located. (A good friend thought Sadie May should have been named "Al" because of the sticker, we thought that was a bit much...)

Oh, wow! That's amazing! Never even thought to do a web search - duh! - we just assumed, after 52 years, they'd be long gone. Thanks, Offsprinin, you've just added a nifty little piece to our Daisy May's history!

All three of my Aristocrats have "Von's" stickers. Neal Vonada was an Aristo dealer here in Washington, good friends with Irv Perch.. I treasure the old stickers.

Our Nomad had a Creamers Trailer Sales Peabody Mass. sticker on the back so I googled it and although it's long gone ,I found a original color picture post card from the dealer on ebay. It shows the lot in the 50's with all the different trailers, a 40's Creamers pickup. and a cool deco building with a vintage gas pump in front.I have it framed on the table in the trailer.

Our 61 Shasta has a Howard Veurink Travel Trailers Grand Rapids MI sticker on the front. The sticker is in decent shape but cracking from age. I looked them up and called them and they were a Shasta dealer in the 50s and 60s. They are going to see if they have any records that far back but said most likely not. Bummer.
