Just returned from vacation to discover my Holiday oven/stove waiting on me, packaged so tightly/carefully it took me 20 minutes to tear into it!
Short history: Tried contacting the other two places mentioned on this forum - the one in California wouldn't touch it and the guy in Rhode Island never returned my calls. I was leaving for vacation soon, and needed to get this resolved. Found a company in Knoxville, Tennessee (which was a bonus, since I live in Nashville) who was willing to look at it. I shipped it off, they said they could do it and gave me a cost estimate. It was less expensive than other prices I've seen on here, even though mine was to be red (which is a more expensive color).
I didn't want to post on here until I saw it for myself - and now that I have, it's perfectly beautiful. They even sent a bit of touch-up paint, should I need it. I haven't caught up on the forum to know what the status is on posting photos, but if that's been resolved, I will post photos once it's reassembled.
Here's the website - I did ask Vicki Helms, the owner, and she was more than happy to have her company listed as a possible source for us: www.cherokeeporcelain.com/
Vicki's number is 865-637-7833, ext. 11. She is lovely to work with. Seriously guys, it took all of a week for me to have my beautiful red Holiday oven back and waiting on my doorstep.

It's still in parts/pieces, hopefully will be reassembled before the end of the week - I reached my limit of what I was comfortable doing myself, so I hired someone to come in a finish enough to where I can take her camping. If I can't post a photo directly on the forum, I will post a link to it once it's been reassembled. Unless you're just curious about the color? If that's the case, I can send you a photo of the pieces, but they're sitting out on the ground. BTW, they will do a custom color match and will repair any damage for an extra fee - forgot to mention that earlier. I did not take either option, but just letting you know those are available.

Can I ask how much you paid? I took my Holiday oven all apart (mostly) and sent the oven door and stovetop (not the burners) and all of the side pieces to be powder coated. They turned out beautiful and was about $75. I too did the bright red, and doesn't it just look awesome? I really would love to see your pics, and would love to see how it turned out. The powdercoating place did the oven trim, handle and accessories in a chrome color. Turned out good.

The PO had done a great job painting mine, but he wasn't a cook, so painting worked just fine for his purposes. My original plan to powder-coat because it's a lot less expensive . . . but I like to cook and was advised that if I planned to use my stovetop/oven, re-porcelain was the only way to go. I'm not sure that with the oven, it would be as critical, but I can understand the stovetop being an issue . . . anyway, the powder-coaters blasted the PO's silver high-temp paint off and said that because it was porcelain, they couldn't do it (they were the ones advising me, and I've also read similar here on the forum and elsewhere). So there I was, three weeks later, with a brown/burnt orange stove.
The red was more expensive than a standard color, like white or black - but my heart was set on it. I don't know if my Snapfish links are working, but here is a photo (warning! Gilda is still very much a work in progress):

It's those "little" triumphs that help keep us motivated to do the icky, ugly, hard stuff. It looks great!

Thank you, Hamlet - at some point, I need to catch you up on my shower/bathroom/closet quest. We're pretty much following your lead, but your concern about the vent was echoed by the guy who is helping me - we've figured out a solution, but you were a tremendous help in clearing that hurdle.
Okay - I joined Photobucket (grrrr), so I hope this link will work for everyone else who can't see the Snapfish links:

Let me know if either of those work - I am sensing they don't.

I tried the last link and it works. Stove looks great!
BTW, the direct link inserts the image as opposed to the link if you want to do that.
