Ad copy: Hi I am selling my vintage 1971 Shasta RV due to my buying a lake home on Lake Cumberland, KY!
-10 foot RV, extremely easy to tow with virtually any vehicle -completely self contained with propane stove, sink, 100 gal water storage -electric lights etc with plug in -no toilet so no nastiness to clean up -new paint -upgraded nickel drawer/cabinet handles -lots of extra storage inside -added on steel outdoor rack with large lockable storage receptacle -propane tank included -comfortable bed, sleeps two -newer tires/greased bearings -small dent in front but overall good condition for the year
I hate to sell but I am out of town too much to really enjoy it...someone will love it though!

I walk by this trailer almost every day (on an irrigation ditch that runs behind the owner's house). From the outside it is NOT worth $4,500 at all - It hasn't been touched in at least 2 1/2 years and I suspect there is a reason that there are no interior pictures... I say this because we are actively looking for a nice old Shasta trailer - and this isn't it!
Two houses down from that one though... someone has a fully restored Shasta parked in their driveway that looks sweet! We look for a for sale sign on it every day.
Awright, Pull over please! Numeral police. That price has used one too many zeroes.....
I am really curious and would love to see the interior of this one. I would love to know how the hell anyone got a 100-gallon storage tank inside this for water storage...! That would explain that enormous rack on the back...needed for counter-balance for the water to keep the tongue weight from ripping off the hitch.
Not too sure about "lined with gold", but the "gold stripe" is missing that would be correct for this vintage. It has had some aluminum skin replaced.
