I just used this product on the new tires we bought for Tallulah Belle, and it is a winner!!! It is a latex based white paint that you simply apply to your sidewalls to get that 50's look, is simple and easy to apply using a brush and looks great! Oh yeah.. the cost is about $15.00 plus shipping. Don't yet know about the longevity but it's easy enough to keep a can in the tool kit and reapply if you get a mark on your wide whites. www.rangerpaint.com/products/white-sidewall

Let us know if they start to yellow. Most of the paint on products do that, some after a very short time. You can repaint, but thats just more upkeep. I'm curious how this turns out since I spent big bucks on my trailer rated wide whitewalls.

kto17, where did you find the trailer rated white sidewalls? Diamondback Tires makes them, dbtires.com, but they don't advertise it. I gave them a had time for not advertising trailer rated available. You can order about any width ww on any size tire you want. Mine are 2-3/4" whitewalls. I bought new wheels and dome hubcaps from Vintage Trailer Supply. Because we have a 19 Deluxe, specs say it weighs 2600 lbs and they were built on a 4000 lbs axle. If we load up 1000 lbs of gear we are at 3600 lbs which is real close to the wheels rating. The tires are rated for more. I wanted the 215/75/15 but it was not rated for the weight I wanted and was more expensive so we went with 225/75/15. Test yours before ordering. The price was barely more than a pair of non-trailer rated Cokers. It was worth every penny to me for appearance and peace of mind, because I will have my family in the truck with me when towing. I checked 225/75/15 on my trailer before ordering and they fit well. The new setup is very tight. The VTS wheels are 6" wide and they just started carrying 5" wide after I ordered. I think that is the difference but I didn't think to measure my old ones before ordering the wheels.
