Once the buyer's insecurity period has passed, then you can grit your teeth, roll up your sleeves and start resurrecting your classic mid century camper! Congrats!

Congratulations! I saw this on the Tin Can Tourist FB page, too. Yes, freaking out is normal. And prepare to have a few more freak-outs as the process begins . . . but they will pass, and the fun definitely outweighs the freak-outs.

Proud to announce we are finally officially Shasta trailer owners, and now I can be like one of the cool kids 'round here. Just procured a 1958 Shasta tonight after going to inspect it. I'm kinda freaking out a little, is that normal? Congrats on graduating to "cool kid". It would Not be normal if you DIDN'T freak out... You should be freaking out a little anyways, with a '58 in the stable....the rounded cabinets and the pushout windows... Very nice.

Best to get the freaking out over and done with early in the game. Then you can have fun the rest of the time. Good luck with your restore.

Yipee!!! Persistence pays off with a Shasta from a great year. We're gonna enjoy this build. It looks pretty good....of course since you've been poking around here the things that are wrong are wrong on all of these....those stinking dinette windows for instance....but thanks to mobiltec you know how to make those right....And it looks like the seats are in excellent shape. Everything else is there though looks like the gaslight got changed out. It even has the cool sconces that everyone wants.

Congrats! I really like this one! Is that a mini Shasta on the counter? No, it's a Mobil gasoline type toy that is the sellers.

Maybe Mobil will extend a two-fer discount? The stove is in great condition and is barely used. Just like mine at home. But it's missing the two racks. Oh well - more storage space for beer then. The wood is light. Allegedly the original owner (we will be the 3rd owner)painted that milk paint on it during the 80's. *shrungs* But then someone on the TCT Facebook said that his '58 looked exactly like this light (almost ash wood) color when he got it, before he got in there and started sanding and shellacking away at it to make it look more warmer...

Aww...it has the same floor mine did...but I couldn't save it. Those tiles are SO cool. I wish they still made that same pattern!
