Thank you!

Make sure you measure the door vs the icebox when you locate one. When Shasta built these they installed all the appliances before the roof was on.

Are you looking for a fridge or an actual icebox? And, does it need to be age-appropriate, or would "vintage but not old" also work? I have a Coleman Convertible Icebox that is very nice and would fit (right height, a little narrower than the original), it has several shelves and a special covered container for ice. I was going to use it in ours, but ended up with a different one (a camper icebox from a pop-up). It would go through the door all right. Let me know if you think you might be interested, I could ship.

Thanks for the helpful info schweetcruisers. I'm pretty sure the entire kitchen side wall will need to be taken off and replaced, so perhaps an icebox could be installed then? hoosierpoet - thank you for the offer, but I think I'm going to try to get it back to original. I'm not a purist or anything, but if possible will try to keep it old school.

Don't blame you in the least! We may do the same thing, eventually.
