Well, this will be our first resto project. As per usual, there is ALOT of water damage and wood rot. The hardware is in good shape and all of the glass is good, too. I'll see if these photos will load right.......

Congrats on your project! Looks as though a PO added a/c on the roof. Not the most advisable thing on one of these old guys/girls unless the wood framing has been significantly beefed up. You might want to check out the really creative solutions other folks have come up with for a/c. Good luck, you have a peach!

Hey. Don't give up...please... Nothing is showing up for me, and I am looking forward to seeing, because a '64 Compact is exactly what I want to go with my 64 Airflyte!

Nice find Jeff!
If it is a '64, it would have been late late '64. In '65 they switched to the "toaster" shape, like this one is, with the "spear" stripe. Earlier ones would have been canned ham models, with the Z-stripe.
