'Ruth' is a cutie! Just an FYI, your blog mentioned the installation of new birch in the back. I believe that the original panels in your trailer are ash plywood so the birch may not match up completely. Enjoy your journey and keep up the updates.

I figured it wasn't birch panels, but I'm not doing a total restoration. Just a renovation so we can actually use the trailer for camping. Don't know where I would find ash panels anyway. Does anyone know the exact model of this trailer? It's not an Astrodome because there is no bathroom. I seem to remember an old ad that mentioned an Aerodome that was the same as an Astrodome but with no bathroom.

Joel,
It's a Astroflyte just like mine!! Mine also doesn't have the bathroom. I much prefer this layout anyway (: So neat to see another Astroflyte owner on the board. What a sweet find and I do believe there aren't too many of these around. You will love her! We just got back from camping in ours this weekend and I can't tell you how comfy and cozy it is. There is plenty of sleeping room for the 5 of us (2 adults, 15 y/o boy, 9 y/o girl, 19 mo old toddler). Have fun with it and be sure and post lots of pics on your blog for us to see.
