Hi! Trying this again. New User. Twice already and I must have done something worng because my post never appeared. I think I have a '67 LoFlyte which has a light fixture above the sink area and it's missing the lamp shade. I've checked the internet but haven't been too lucky finding pictures or information about this fixture. Hoping someone here might be able to help. Thanks! Attachments:

I have a 67 loflyte and I'm missing the same piece. The 68 compact we tore down was also missing that piece. So it must have been extremely flimsy or else nonexistant.

Hard to tell from the picture but could it have taken a diffuser shade that would sit in what looks like the space above the socket?

thanks for getting back to me . still hoping to find somebody who has a picture or knows what belongs on this lamp. I'm not sure what a diffuser looks like do you have a picture? I have seen pictures on the internet of the insides of trailers similar to mine that have the same lamp but they are missing the lamp shade as well.

Short term, while you are waiting for the mystery to reveal itself, since I have never seen a cover for the front light in a '67 LoFlyte either, I wonder if you could get one of those miniature lamp shades sold at places like Lowes that just slip over the light bulb...it would appear upside-down, but if the base of the shade was just a smidgen wider than that disc looking plate, it wouldn't look too bizarre...again for a temporary fix.

These pictures are also posted in the photos section of this website under '67 LoFlyte Thanking the Lord. After a long time search on the web I did find some pictures of what I believe is the original fixture for the area above the sink and stove. I say I believe because its the same fixture used in Shasta's in a few years prior and after the '67. Now I just need to track one down. Any ideas??? Hope this helps those who were interested. I have a 71 Starflyte and have that same lamp over the kitchen and the dinette. The one over the kitchen sink had a crack in it and when I went to remove it the thing just went to pieces It was plastic and I guess it had dry rotted. I haven't touched the other one for fear of destroying it as well. I'm trying to figure out what to replace it with, the fixture has a spring type holder to hold the "globe" in place. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
