They probably aren't too far off other patterns, the process is the same. There are some pretty fun ones - not original, maybe, but fun.

Here I am! Another person looking for aqua boomerang from Formica. Does anyone have one sheet laying around that they would be willing to sell to me? It really is perfect for the decor of my little 1959!!! Any response will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

If you buy from home depot or lows they are $250.00 for a 4 x8 sheet. If you can find an independent dealer you can get them for $179.00
You can order a sample from wilsonart. You should do that before ordering. The boomerang pattern is a lot smaller then I thought it was going to be.

Yup, the indies have to compete with the big boxes, and when it's stuff like this, they often trump the BBs not only in price, but in service as well. There are still places out there that actually do the installations themselves, so they can give lots of really good advice to do it yourselfers.

So, I found an independent (non-big box) store, Travis Tile here in Austin that can get the Wilsonart Indie Collection for a third less than Lowes... Hurray! Ordered a 4x8 sheet. I hope it's enough as it was nearly $200. The price we pay to get exactly what we want.

plixer93 - True about paying for what we want, but then we know we will want what we get. Something may cost a "lot" of money, but be a great value. We paid more for Hamlet's wings than we paid for Hamlet. We are about 99% certain that they were his original wings, and we don't regret one penny of what we spent. So it was a lot of money, but as the commercial says..."priceless."

I called a local flooring company yesterday for a price on the Wilson Art Retro Hot Rod (boomerang pattern) and was told it only comes in 4x8 sheets and is $9 a sq. foot which makes the sheet $288. Very pricey but not $500 at least.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but has anyone had any luck finding Skylark Boomerang recently?
