You might try removing the screen door and sanding (belt sander) the inside edge on the hinge side. Sounds like the door is binding just a little..

Now that I'm back from vacation (without trailer) I'll give that a go and see if it helps.

Take your time, less is more. Eyeball where it binds, correct a little and try again...

Those of you that have been keeping up with my restoration know that it's been a long and sometimes bumpy road. All the work that I've done is to get my little Shasta ready to show off at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, a big free music festival out here. She was used as part of the back stage artists hospitality area. It's documented on my blog at aguadream.blogspot.com/2012/10/hardly-strictly-bluegrass-was-strictly.htmlBut thought I'd share just a few pics here to entice you to get see more. Several of the artists were enticed to use my trailer for pictures including Emmy Lou Harris and Elvis Costello all captured by the amazing rock photographer Jay Blakesberg. I have to say this is the payoff for all the hard work, and I am still just loving the idea that so many talented artists spent a few minutes in my trailer. And from all reports many were raving about it! And here she is settling in for the night, my enchanted trailer

Thanks Janesfaces....yes it makes all the early frustration and anxiety just melt away....sort of the same way the pain of childbirth vanishes when you hold your baby in your arms for the first time.

Guess I couldn't resist. Had to come look. Looks like a great forum so I'll cruise around take a look. What a fantastic setting for your Shasta! Great photos.
