OK, got it done. Think I moved Daisy around a bit but hopefully she ended up back where she belongs in the Seattle Tacoma area.

OK, I'm signed up!
Hey--just a thought! For those of us Shasta addicts; I hope I have the integrity and self-control to not buy the Shasta for my own evil purposes instead of passing on positive feedback! (just kidding...really....) [/quote]
RedWings, I had the same thought!

I'm in, but that map is funky! Will look at all campers not just Shasta! We should sticky/bookmark this from the SOB for sale section too! Here's the deal with me. I'm in Aurora, IN 47001 (40min SW of Cinti, OH) I will look for you 10-15 min from home. Anything more than that and I will need $ for gas and time to go up to 2-3 hours away. See Map snip in pic What you get from me for that is Up to 50 pics and 1 video of viewing. The video will include owner telling me their story while I'm viewing. I can also transport (If ready to tow), store, and repair your unit after purchase too if interested. Any repairs needed before towing like tire replacement, digging tires or axles out of the ground, wiring, etc for transport will be quoted before transport. Any interest at all Message me on this site. I'm unemployed/semi retired and willing to work. Have truck, Insurance, tools, know how, will travel! References; mountainkimmie's KD viewing pic/video, see here; vintageshasta.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=generalowners&action=display&thread=5059&page=2 (for pic and video samples) Repairs here; vintageshasta.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=shastaownersrestorations&action=display&thread=4466Soup Attachments:

I'm a newby in IL who is retiring & looking for a red or pink Shasta trailer. I'd like one that was originally red or pink, not just painted that color aftermarket. I don't have the skills or the desire for restoration, so I need one that's already restored. It'll be my 1st trailer & really hope there will be someone available to help me by checking it out for me cause I have no clue!

Hi Diva Donna We don't look for trailers for folks. If you see one that is outside of your area that you are interested in, then you look on this map and see if there is someone who's close by, then you send them a pm to see if they can take look for you.

I have stuck my foot in my mouth several times, so not having learned anything by that, I'm going to risk it again. It is a nice looking trailer. It is possible that a complete restore has been done, but not possible to determine without a declaration by the owner and lots of pictures to support that. The wings, alas, are not original to that trailer.

Tom Jansen Denton, Tx. 720-891-1901 norgecastle@gmail.com Thanks for a Great thought and looking foreward to finding my 13 to 17 ' Shasta. Tom, not sure it is a good idea to post your phone # and email in the open forum. Most people will PM you for info. (Private Message) The danger is phishers and scammers may try to contact you....

I am new to this forum and LOVE this thread. It's so great to see people willing to help out their fellow man (and woman).
I have a question - are the people who signed up here willing to look at only Shastas, at everything, or is it up to each individual?
Thanks!

Soup, I just sent you a PM. This map is such a great idea - thank you! Some of us could use a seasoned veteran's opinion.

Great idea to network. I've added our location to the map. Hey--just a thought! For those of us Shasta addicts; I hope I have the integrity and self-control to not buy the Shasta for my own evil purposes instead of passing on positive feedback! (just kidding...really....) Haha, yeah the same thing went through my head! I put a warning in my description that I was on the look-out for a early 60's compact LOL!
