Hey All, Proud new owner of a 1971 Jet Crafted By Lofgrens "shasta knockoff" trailer. I just need to know what to put on the title ect. ect.
I would also like to know some history on these cute little trailers if anyone has some.

Welcome to the VSTF!! I think we have at least two other Jet owners who recently joined the Forum. They will probably be very happy to share knowledge and pms with you on the History of the Jets. I would suggest as far as the Title info is concerned that you have it titled as a 71 Jet as soon as you can confirm that your camper is indeed a 1971 Jet. Don't necessarily "trust" the year you were told by the seller, since your camper is over 40 years old, and if the Title is lost, the year of manufacture might have been misquoted along the way. It would appear that a number of vintage camper manufacturers purchased component parts from the same suppliers, and in fact were more "assembly plants" than manufacturing everything themselves. We welcome SOB (Some Other Brand) owners...and in fact many Shasta owners end up having a second or more vintage camper(s) that may be SOB's. If you scroll down to the bottom category on the homepage you will find a SOB Discussion section as well as SOB's For Sale. You can open a new thread and ask other Jet owners to exchange info. A '71 Jet is indeed a keeper and can stand alone, and does not need to tag along on a Shasta clone identity.

Oh and one more thought...we always love to see pics of new Member's trailers, so please post some as soon as you figure out how to do it. There is a tutorial on how to post pics here on the Forum.

Bruce, thanks for the info. It is indeed a 1971, the person I purchased it from had all the paperwork. Reupholstered four years ago, and it awesome condition, straight frame, tows great. All for $250 Going to restore it, maybe give it a nice 50's look, and some white walls
