By the look of that rear window you don't need any. The right tools and patience are all that is needed. I can't wait to see it completed.

Ahh yes! Midwest Vintage trailer rally. Kimberly's rallies are the bomb. It's where I learned about this site, and also met Joe & Tammy. We will bringing the Zollinger again this year. The '61 Shasta has no front end at this time. She sure is one rotten little Shasta. Didn't look that bad until we started to take her apart. Dawn & Scott

Hey Scott and Dawn! How are you guys?? Are you getting the same site?? Joe and I requested a wooded site to be out of the sun this time! Looking forward to it!! Especially, the cocktail party. I was very tame last year and that is not like me at all! Maybe it was kind of like my first rodeo, Uh...rally!! Might have to let loose this rally!! Joe will keep an eye on me...always does!! Tammy

Hi Tammy. We took site #6 across from Kimberly, also because it was out of the sun and we had the same old site 2 years in a row. Every time you think of over inbibing....just think about poor Marley last year. ;D Although she can't say she wasn't warned! See ya in a couple of months!

I just realized that I only have 6 weeks or so left until the rally and I am not even close to being done. I hope I don't have to bring my popup. Summer goes by too fast.

We won't be going to the Rally. Partly because Louise won't be done in time and partly because we have a conflicting family thing. I think when I found out that we had the family thing that I slowed down alot on the restoration. I kinda wonder if we would have gotten it done in time? Brian

That's too bad. I was very much looking forward to meeting you personally and seeing your work. My buddy and I are working on putting together a small (to start) rally up on the north shore of Lake Superior between Duluth and Two Harbors. A friend of ours owns a cool little camprgound www.kniferivercampground.com/ (like the logo?) and I'd really like to show some people what I love so much about the North country. I'm going to Montello not only for the rally itself, but also to see what they are all about and what works and what doesn't. Should be fun. If only I can get my rig done. I have been able to install half the windows and the inside is about 75% done. We'll see. My vintage rig may be a 98 Coleman Santa Fe popup.

Yeah, It sucks but I guess I don't have the stress of trying to make that date now.
Once we get the trailer done we might be able to make the trek up there.
It is quite a haul to go up to that neck of the woods but if it is to support a Vintage trailer rally it would be worth it. You have to keep us up to date on how thing shake out with the plans! I'm sure putting up a blog or website would help the cause for getting folks to come to the other rally. But I guess we can talk more about this later.

We're planning on making this our first rally with the Astroflyte this September. Can't wait to see all the hard work that people have put into these old gems. I think my wife is more excited than me. Anyone from here planning to go?

We are going again this year. Last year Scott and a couple of other people that were attending made plans to all finish our Shasta's and go in 2012. I guess we took my 1953 Zollinger the last four years that is "Shaz's" turn this year. New rims and baby moons arrived last week now it's time for tires. New paint job comes next. Dawn and Scott
