Astonished that the url was available, I grabbed it and intend to dump every bit of information I find along my way into the site. If you own a LoFlyte or have any photos/documentation/information on them, please contact me through the site. Thank you! www.shastaloflyte.com/

Hey, VintageShastas.com is available for $48,800 LOL! Someone has lost their mind (;
Your new site will be very neat and informative! Will be fun to watch it grow.
I snagged ShastaCompact.com, ShastaCompacts.com (had to have one with the s at the end) and VintageShastaTrailers.com but not sure what/when/if I will do something with them.

Alana, feel free to steal anything you want off my flickr pages (nebraskama is my userid) for my loflyte. I also tried to leave a comment and couldn't get it to let me. You can let Bettty know that the paneling is from the 60s and she probably won't be able to find a match for that funky whitewashed stuff. That's why we painted my loflyte also.

Thank you, ladies!
Mary, I'm so sorry you weren't able to comment! I turned off the add-on commenting plugin. I hope that fixes it. Maybe give it another try. I think your input will be very important and I want to be sure you can contribute.

Hey, VintageShastas.com is available for $48,800 LOL! Someone has lost their mind (; Really? I remember hearing something about the Bush Presidential Library URL going public sometime during his presidency. Someone dropped the ball and didn't re-register it. Someone bought it and IF I remember right it was sold back to the Bush camp for something like 55K. It would be hard to think that the Shasta domain would fetch as much as the that critical presidential URL. Maybe I am not remembering the story that well. My brain is kinda mush right now. Anyway...someone would be STUPID to pay for that domain at that price. I wouldn't pay more then $10 for it. Brian

Yeah, the Feds passed an anti-domain squatting law that would negate any need to pay for such an outrageous price for a registered trademark. If someone dropped the ball on a domain such as that, there would only be a legal motion filed and letter sent to force Network Solutions to turn it back over to the rightful owner. It's to keep people from squatting on branded domain names.

One of our unpopular governors didn't register her domain name. Some guy bought it and tried to sell it to her, which she refused. So he did a complete parody site on her that became extremely popular! She was notorious for very dumb quotes. Like: "My husband has never beat me. But then, I've never given him reason to."
Sorry...this was a bit off post but I just had to!
Kel and Alana: good for you!!!

Options 4. That would go well with your awning fabric being teal/white.

Ooooooo!! Option two! That's almost the same colors i chose for my compact. I love the color combo and the interest that both colors bring.

I just linked your blog to my new one. I think our Shasta Loflyte is also a 68, but not 100% sure yet. I love knowing we're not alone in our Shasta craziness/obsession!
