Hello, We just bought a fan-tastic vent from Vintage Trailers .com. We would like to convert our fan to except 110v, is it possible to get a tranformer/converter? What do you recommend?
thank-you, Stephanie

You could run a 12 volt power supply that runs off of 110v. The key would be knowing the the amperage needs of the fan-tastic fan. Does anyone know the amp rating for the fans power draw? I have used an old computer power supplies in the past for 12 volt applications and run items off of the 12 volt rail.
*Edit-- I just went to the FanTastic Vent site an found that the fans max. amperage is 3 amps on High. You can get a 4 amp power supply for under $10 on ebay, shipping included.

Thank-you 61shastacompact for replying! Looks like that could be a good option. We went on our first camping adventure this weekend and it would have been nice having the fan hooked up.
We are going to also at some point purchase a solar kit for some fab boondocking.
