Well, I got my carport put up today, I plan on boxing it in all the way around with a couple of big front doors. so I can have an indoor place to remodel it. I was going to build from scratch with a pole barn style building, but after figuring up the price of the wood, 6x6's for poles, building the trusses, etc. going this route only cost right at a $100.00 more. I like, it! although the cost made a big dent in my remodel funds, but in the long term will be a good investment. it is 18x21 and my camper is 19 foot long total length. the carport has 7 foot sides.

I'm jealous. Mine is in my driveway, and it's a small driveway at that...no room for any kind of shelter. I gotta figure out what I'm going to do with her before the winter. I live on the east coast of Canada...we get snow.

Oh, I am so suffering from envy right now! Tomorrow mine is moving out to a horse ranch because it is the only place that I can find to store it. Congrats on the building, that looks great!

looks great. im looking at building something, but ill only be building a roof. i bought metal from a metal roofing joint at a great discount a while back (most these places will sell it to you by the foot because it has scratches etc on them, they cant sell the sheets full price to the paying customers) , ill just be adding 4x4 uprights and some cross beams, flat with an angle towards the rear. Our little guy is only about 13-14ft one end to the other.
